PROJECT SUMMARY
This project is designed to create a livable and potentially sustainable riparian area in Jakarta with a system ranging from waste management, rainwater collection, agricultural in urban land and generate electricity from the flow of the river.
APPRAISAL BY THE JURY
The jury saw this idea has a great social effect. It is also replicable for other cities in Indonesia. One of the most interesting parts is how it provides a rainwater reservoir to reduce the rainwater flow and not to fall directly into the river. After treated, the water can be reused for irrigation.
